How rim mounting lubricants work
Both in the uniformity machine and in the workshops specialized in changing and/or giving maintenance, balancing or other services to the vehicles, it is vital to have a lubricant that works by providing a resistant film that helps to reduce the effort to assemble and disassemble the tire rim. The characteristics of a good lubricant for the assembly of tires are:
-It does not require extra diluents such as alcohol or solvents and helps to lower the friction coefficient.
-It helps to lower the friction coefficient.
-They reduce white stains, splashes and / or scale because they leave a low level of residue.
-Should evaporate in a couple of minutes.
-Generates little foam.
-A good lubricant protects the protective layer (the coating / paint) of the machinery and the rim, preventing corrosion.
